FROM THE
CHAMBER BOARD
Chamber President Raoul Behr
Dear Entrepreneurs,
As 2026 continues to unfold, Curaçao’s business community can do so with confidence and renewed energy. The year is already well underway, and early indicators confirm that our economy remains resilient,
dynamic, and full of opportunity.
In 2025, the Chamber concluded 88 training and networking sessions, engaging over 4,400 participants and generating more than 100,000 direct contact
moments with entrepreneurs.
These figures reflect a highly engaged business community committed to learning, connection, and growth. Building on this momentum, our educational and networking programs for 2026 are already in full swing, with new sessions underway and additional
topics planned for the coming weeks.
We encourage entrepreneurs to actively engage with these opportunities to strengthen their skills,
exchange insights, and remain competitive in a rapidly evolving environment.
Economic fundamentals remain encouraging. Curaçao Airport reported a record-breaking year with 2,461,000 passenger movements, supported by a 22% increase in seat capacity and an average seat occupancy of 81%. In parallel, the Curaçao Tourist Board confirmed a new milestone with 788,000 stayover visitors in 2025, reinforcing tourism’s role as a key driver of growth across
multiple sectors.
While geopolitical dynamics in our region and beyond remind us that external uncertainties persist, Curaçao’s strength lies in its adaptability, connectivity, and entrepreneurial spirit.
As the Chamber enters this next phase, the 2026 Chamber Board has formally elected its President and Vice President, marking an important step in strengthening governance and leadership for the year ahead. This is a moment to seize the opportunities before us — through engagement, innovation, and collaboration. Together, with confidence and initiative, we will
continue shaping a resilient and prosperous Curaçao.
