FROM THE
CHAMBER BOARD
Chamber President Raoul Behr
Dear Entrepreneurs,
As we approach the last trimester of the year, the pace of business activity remains strong. In the first half of 2025 alone, the Chamber has recorded more than 79,000 contact moments with entrepreneurs and welcomed over 2,100 participants to our webinars and sessions. These numbers underscore the continued demand for knowledge and networking, and they inspire us to keep strengthening our support
to the business community.
Looking ahead, important milestones and opportunities await. The deadline of 30 September 2025 for UBO registration is approaching. We strongly encourage all legal entities to meet this obligation on time to ensure compliance and transparency.
On the opportunities side, September will be
particularly active.
Curaçao will host the Colombian Showroom, organized by ProColombia, creating direct exposure to one of Latin America’s most dynamic markets. Later in the month, through the Barranquilla Chamber of Commerce, entrepreneurs will also gain the chance to digitally connect with Colombian importers, opening new doors for trade partnerships.
At the same time, the CBCS survey on the construction sector provides valuable insights into one of the key drivers of our economy. Understanding these trends is essential as we shape strategies for sustainable growth.
Beyond September, more international opportunities are on the horizon. With pending direct connections expected in Q4 2025, Curaçao is positioning itself as an increasingly accessible hub. This creates hope and confidence that our entrepreneurs will be able to seize opportunities not only regionally, but also in broader international markets.
Let us continue to build on this momentum together.
