As 2025 nears its close, Curaçao’s business community continues to demonstrate resilience, creativity, and

ambition.

This month, we celebrate milestones that reflect the power of connection and collaboration. On December 2, Curaçao launched its new LATAM airlift to Lima and Bogotá—opening doors to South American markets

and strengthening regional ties.

Connectivity is opportunity, and this step positions our

island for greater trade and tourism growth prospects.

Our recent Curaçao Groeit event in cooperation with NLGroeit and ondernemersreizen.nl brought local and Dutch entrepreneurs together to exchange ideas and

explore business development.

Likewise, the Chamber’s Business networking Mixer on December 2 proved a success, igniting dialogue on both short- and long - term visions for our economy. Impressions of this gathering can be viewed on page 5. Make sure you are in the loop to participate in the next Mixer in 2026. These gatherings remind us that on Curaçao, business thrives on people. Trust, connection, and courage matter more than spreadsheets. Our island’s strength lies in human energy, warmth, and

As we look ahead, the Chamber Board Elections on December 11, 2025, represent an important moment for our business community. It is an opportunity to help shape the direction of the Chamber and ensure strong leadership for the years ahead. We encourage all eligible members to stay informed and participate actively in this democratic process.

Beyond business, Curaçao made history by qualifying for the World Cup as the smallest country in the world. This achievement shines a global spotlight on our island, inspiring us all to aim higher and embrace bold possibilities.
