FROM THE
CHAMBER BOARD
Dear Visionary Entrepreneurs,
Welcome to the 8th edition of our E-Newsletter! This issue encapsulates the remarkable outcomes of our united efforts, highlighting the exciting initiatives already in motion and the wealth of opportunities that await your
engagement.
We remind you once again of the milestone of the publication of the UBO registry legislation and the successful launch of the UBO Registry in Curaçao by the Chamber of Commerce. The UBO register not only ensures compliance with international standards set by the Financial Action Task Force but also fortifies Curaçao’s financial sector and
bolsters our international reputation.
By mandating entities in Curaçao to disclose their ultimate beneficial owners, we are promoting and
fostering a trustworthy business environment. Turn to the webinar update page to be able to
sign up for the virtual information session that will elaborate on the UBO Registry.
We continue to foster our global network, unlocking business and networking prospects across Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe and Central America as well as monitoring the developments in the region and locally. Looking ahead, besides the launch of our new Caribbean Guilder, our network will become even more connecting, offering unmatched
opportunities for you as entrepreneurs through various business missions scheduled for the upcoming months of the year.
A recent engaging session with the representation of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands based in Caracas, has given insights on the Venezuelan market. The initial contacts set at the end of 2023, together with the current situation is constantly being evaluated to be able to continue the business opportunities at the right moment in time and surpass levels of business that were historically positive for both markets.
Join us, and let’s shape a thriving tomorrow together.
