Enhancing Support for MSME's in Curaçao

Curaçao's Ministry of Economic Development, represented by Mr. Ruisandro Cijntje, has joined forces with Mr. John Jacobs and Mrs. Kirsten Römer of Stichting Beheer MKB Fondsen, facilitated by the Curaçao Chamber to launch the MiNEGOSHI Shared & Support Services. This initiative aims to provide accessible advice and professional support to local businesses, covering regulatory, fiscal, legal, and operational aspects.

MiNEGOSHI Shared & Support Services offers networking opportunities and connects entrepreneurs with potential clients, partners, and coaches. It provides guidance on financing options, conducts workshops, seminars, and offers coaching by experienced mentors to enhance commercial skills.

Recognizing the importance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME's) in Curaçao's economy (representing 98% of local businesses), this collaboration seeks to support their growth and contribute to the country's economic development.

The execution agreement, initially set for three years, will be periodically reviewed through quarterly meetings between the Ministry of Economic Development and Stichting Beheer MKB Fondsen.

Stay tuned for the official launch of MiNEGOSHI Shared & Support Services, where details on its physical location, contact information and services will be provided. This collaboration marks a significant stride towards empowering Curaçao's small businesses and fostering economic prosperity. Read the full article HERE
